Overview

Paradise Valley is a gorge of palm trees, oleander and natural rock pools in the foothills of the High Atlas, about an hour from Agadir and Taghazout. It is the favourite half-day escape from the beach: a short walk, a swim in clear water and lunch in the shade.

Questions

Can we swim in Paradise Valley?

Yes, in the natural rock pools. The water is fresh, so it is best from April to October. Bring a swimsuit, a towel and shoes you can walk in.

Is there water all year?

There is usually water in the pools, but less at the end of a dry summer. After heavy rain the path can be closed, and we always check before we go.
