Our story
Born on the oasis road
Oasis Roads was founded by Abdou, an Amazigh (Berber) from N'kob, a village of old kasbahs at the foot of the Saghro mountains. N'kob sits right on the road between the Draa Valley and the Sahara, the same road our travellers follow today.
Abdou has spent more than ten years guiding travellers across Morocco, and four years leading student and university groups. Sometimes he drives your tour himself; sometimes it's one of the driver-guides on his small team, people he has known and trusted for years.
We work in a simple way. Every tour is private: your own car, no strangers, up to 7 travellers per car, with an extra car for bigger groups. We book every hotel, riad and desert camp for you, and we only choose places we'd send our own families to.
