2-Day Tour from Agadir to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Test Pass
Instead of three hours on the motorway, take two days over the mountains. You leave Agadir for the walled town of Taroudant, climb the spectacular Tizi n'Test pass (2,092 m), visit the 12th-century mosque of Tinmel and sleep in the green valley of Ouirgane. The next morning you walk in Imlil below Mount Toubkal before reaching Marrakech.
Best for: Turning the Agadir–Marrakech transfer into a mountain journey.

Day by day
Day 1Agadir – Taroudant – Tizi n'Test – Tinmel – Ouirgane
Through argan country to Taroudant and its golden walls, then up the hairpins of the Tizi n'Test pass. On the north side you visit the Tinmel mosque, birthplace of the Almohad empire, and reach Ouirgane for a quiet night by the river.
Day 2Ouirgane – Imlil – Asni – Marrakech
Up the valley to Imlil for a walk to a Berber village with Mount Toubkal above, lunch on a terrace, then down by the Asni market valley to Marrakech.

Is the Tizi n'Test road safe?
Yes, it was widened and resurfaced, but it is narrow and winding, which is why we take it slowly with an experienced driver.
Is this a group tour?
No. Every Oasis Roads journey is private: your own car and English-speaking driver-guide, no strangers, up to 7 travellers per car.
Can we change the route or add nights?
Yes. Because the tour is private, we can add a night, swap a stop or change the end city. Tell us when you ask for your quote.
